The Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, or RAMM, is one of my regular clients.
Most recently I provided curatorial support for Sea Garden (2019-20), an international contemporary art exhibition exploring our relationship with the sea. Artists included Turner Prize nominee Lucy Skaer, Mikhail Karikis, Dorothy Cross, Susan Derges and Sarah Gordon, as well as a new South West Commission by Bryony Gillard.
In 2018 I project managed the development and launch of RAMM’s Membership Scheme.
In 2016-17, I helped the museum to develop its contribution to Arts Council England’s Creative Case for Diversity, embedding inclusion at the heart of planning for its 2018-22 programmes.
At the same time I co-ordinated and co-wrote the museum’s successful £2.4m bid for the next four years of Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation investment 2018-22.
Also for RAMM, I have evaluated funded programmes across the museum (Major Partnership Museum collaboration 2018, Africa Galleries redisplay 2018), researched and written exhibition interpretation (Michelle Sank 2015) and worked with the organisation to develop and deliver its award-winning collections review methodology (2012) and an online research prospectus (2013). In 2012 I was on the selection panel for RAMM’s first digital artist commission by Blast Theory.
